About SAMI
Building an international-scale gold mining company
We are building an international scale, environmentally responsible Suriname-focused gold mining company.
We are current progressing two properties including:
- Emmakreek Concessions: three exploration licences covering an area of 93,600 ha. We aim to target production of >30,000 oz pa.
- Brokolonga Concession: an exploitation licence containing an historic inferred resource of upto 400,000 oz of gold that is currently producing. We target production of >20,000 oz pa.

Environment Friendly
Environmentally friendly. Socially responsible.
We use proven, environmentally friendly alluvial mining technology. We use no mercury, less water and energy, and deliver continual reclamation.
Emerging nations and alluvial mining have been particularly plagued by illegal mining and chemical usage. SAMI uses its environmentally-friendly advantages to operate in emerging nations and deliver:
- system that remove mercury and other chemicals from water and land.
- safe, reliable jobs for local populations.
- corporate social responsibility initiatives to aid in development of towns.
Our core technology is at the pinnacle of environmentally-friendly mining technology.
- AU recovery rates of above 75%.
- Significantly less water usage than traditional alluvial mining technologies. – No chemical use.

Modern Alluvial Mining
It is an open secret in exploration, that you follow the artisan miners. If their basic methods can make money, then a significant gold system cannot be far away.
We have developed a new approach to structured exploration mining. We look for concessions with a history of alluvial mining where our modern alluvial mining approach can generate significant production. This allows us to immediately generate profits for investors and fund exploration for the underlying hardrock asset.
Our approach combines the advantages that an alluvial miner has of low CAPEX, low OPEX and a flexible modular approach to operations with the upside from finding world class mining assets.
Our approach is based on using tried and proven techniques and equipment but on a larger scale.
Our Advantage is based on a structured methodology that delivers:
- immediate cash flow and profit;
- JORC compliant resources and balance sheet value using our Alluvial Exploration Methodology;
- and self-funded exploration delivering potentially world class asset discoveries.
Our approach builds immediate profits and balance sheet value through developing JORC compliant resources.
Properties
Opportunities in the under-explored Guiana Shield
We are focused on the under-explored Guiana Shield in South America.
The region offers many geological similarities to the prolific greenstone belt of West Africa where numerous multi-million oz deposits have been discovered. There has been relatively little exploration in Suriname and the neighbouring countries and it is likely substantial discoveries are yet to be made.
Focus on Suriname – a small, advanced mining friendly country
Suriname is a former Dutch colony of only 500,000 people. The economy has long been dominated by the natural resources sector and in particular the bauxite industry.
The country has several large gold mines including the Rosebel mine owned by IAMGOLD which has produced more than 3m oz of gold since 2004 and the new Merian Gold project owned by Newmont which began production in November 2017 and is targeting 500,000 oz pa.
In Suriname, we own the:
- Emmakreek Concessions: three exploration licences covering an area of 93,600 ha. We are targeting production of >30,000 oz pa.
and we are finalising the ownership of:
- Brokolonga Concession: an exploitation licence covering an area of 5,500 ha that may contain an inferred resource of upto 400,000 oz of gold that is currently producing. We target production of >10,000 oz pa.
